The person holding this position must be a Christ follower and shall prayerfully help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree and Elementary Teacher Certificate, completed student-teaching experience, with two years of classroom experience preferred. Ability to develop lesson plans, instruct and evaluate students in theories, methods, and tasks, effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues are required. Lower School Aide – We currently are accepting resumes for a Lower School Aide. Full time or part time available. The person holding this position must be a Christ follower who loves to partner with teachers and parents in leading and guiding students in the areas of academics, character development, and spiritual growth. This position requires an intuitive nature that foresees student and teacher needs, as well as the ability to follow directions thoroughly. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year or more of experience with elementary age children either in a church setting or in a school setting. Excellent communication skills, ability to use basic office equipment, confidence to work with small groups of children under the direction of the teacher, confidence to lead and direct students in group activities such as recess and lunch time, receive direction from cooperating teachers and staff members, and ability to know and follow procedures for emergency management are required.
